Little feet lose heat very quickly – which is why they deserve special care. Nevada booties are crafted from soft, fluffy sheep's wool. Its naturally crimped, lofted fibres retain heat exceptionally well while helping maintain a comfortable temperature: keeping feet warm on cool days while allowing the skin to breathe when it gets warmer.

The soft knit doesn't squeeze or restrict movement, while the soft ties hold the bootie securely on the foot – it won't slip off even during the most energetic kicking. The booties work equally well at home, in the pram or as an extra warm layer on cooler days.

Every pair is hand-sewn in Poland, with the same care with which you wrap your child.

Teddy fleece wool

Natural sheep's wool with a naturally crimped fibre structure that gives the knit a soft, fluffy, teddy-like texture. It retains heat exceptionally well and allows the skin to breathe, providing comfort during autumn and winter outings. Like all wool, it has natural hypoallergenic properties and neutralises odours.

Will the wool feel itchy against my baby's delicate skin?
This wool fleece has a soft, lofted structure that is exceptionally gentle to the touch and kind even to sensitive infant skin. It is also hypoallergenic.

How do I choose the right size?
Size 0–6 m is designed for newborns and young babies; size 6–12 m is for babies who are crawling or taking their first steps. The most reliable method is to measure the foot and compare it with the insole length: size 0–6 m has a 12 cm insole, size 6–12 m has a 15 cm insole. It is worth choosing a size with a little room to spare so the foot has freedom of movement.

Will the booties slip off?
The soft ties allow you to adjust the bootie to the foot and hold it securely – without squeezing and without leaving marks on the skin.

How do I care for the booties?
Wool is self-cleaning, so airing is usually all that is needed. If necessary, we recommend careful hand washing at max. 30°C using a wool detergent. Do not machine wash, do not spin, do not tumble dry – dry flat.

Total product composition: 83% wool, 17% polyester
Polyester serves solely as the structural base (load-bearing mesh) on which the natural fleece is anchored.

Care

Hand wash at max. 30°C with a wool detergent, using the same temperature for washing and rinsing. Do not machine wash, do not bleach, do not iron, do not spin, do not tumble dry or place on a radiator. Dry flat. Gentle dry cleaning is permitted. Loose fibres on the surface are a natural characteristic of fleece products – before first use, air and shake the item; during use, brush gently with a soft-bristle brush. The natural smell of wool fades after airing.
