Little feet lose heat very quickly – which is why they deserve special care. Sierra booties are crafted from premium sheep's wool with a double fleece layer that maintains a steady, comfortable temperature: keeping feet warm on cool days while allowing the skin to breathe when it gets warmer.

The soft knit doesn't squeeze or restrict movement, while the soft ties hold the bootie securely on the foot – it won't slip off even during the most energetic kicking. The booties work equally well at home, in the pram or as an extra warm layer on cooler days.

Every pair is hand-sewn in Poland, with the same care with which you wrap your child.

Premium wool

High-quality sheep's wool with a soft fleece on both sides of the knit, providing better insulation than regular wool while wicking moisture away effectively. It thermoregulates naturally – warming without overheating. Hypoallergenic and self-cleaning, it is resistant to dust mites and neutralises odours.

Will the wool feel itchy against my baby's delicate skin?
Premium wool is made from high-quality fibres with a soft, dense fleece on both sides of the knit. It feels soft to the touch and is gentle even on sensitive infant skin. It is also hypoallergenic.

How do I choose the right size?
Size 6–12 m is for babies who are crawling or taking their first steps; size 0–6 m is designed for newborns and young babies. The most reliable method is to measure the foot and compare it with the insole length: size 0–6 m has a 12 cm insole, size 6–12 m has a 15 cm insole. It is worth choosing a size with a little room to spare so the foot has freedom of movement.

Will the booties slip off?
The soft ties allow you to adjust the bootie to the foot and hold it securely – without squeezing and without leaving marks on the skin.

How do I care for the booties?
Wool is self-cleaning, so airing is usually all that is needed. If necessary, we recommend careful hand washing at max. 30°C using a wool detergent. Do not machine wash, do not spin, do not tumble dry – dry flat.

Polyester serves solely as the structural base (load-bearing mesh) on which the natural fleece is anchored.

Care

Hand wash at max. 30°C with a wool detergent, using the same temperature for washing and rinsing. Do not machine wash, do not bleach, do not iron, do not spin, do not tumble dry or place on a radiator. Dry flat. Gentle dry cleaning is permitted. Loose fibres on the surface are a natural characteristic of fleece products – before first use, air and shake the item; during use, brush gently with a soft-bristle brush. The natural smell of wool fades after airing.
