Premium sheep's wool with a double fleece layer retains heat more effectively than conventional wool knit, while still breathing and wicking moisture away, so your child won't overheat even during energetic outdoor play.

The zip with a protective flap at the neck makes dressing quick and easy, and the hood with a pompom adds charm while shielding little heads from the wind. A relaxed, easy-going cut doesn't restrict movement – Meri works just as well with everyday looks as with smarter outfits.

Every jacket is hand-sewn in Poland, with the same care with which you wrap your child.

Premium wool

High-quality sheep's wool with a soft fleece on both sides of the knit, providing better insulation than regular wool while wicking moisture away effectively. It thermoregulates naturally – warming without overheating. Hypoallergenic and self-cleaning, it is resistant to dust mites and neutralises odours.

Frequently asked questions

Will the wool feel itchy against my child's delicate skin?
Premium wool is made from high-quality fibres with a soft, dense fleece on both sides of the knit. It feels soft to the touch and is gentle even on sensitive skin. It is also hypoallergenic. A thin cotton base layer worn underneath is a good idea.

How do I choose the right size?
Sizes correspond to standard children's clothing sizing (62/68 to 134/140). It is worth choosing a size with a little room to spare so the child has freedom of movement and there is space for a base layer underneath.

What temperatures is the jacket suitable for?
The double layer of wool fleece retains heat better than standard wool – the jacket works as an outer layer from autumn through to early spring. In colder weather, simply add a hat and Sierra mittens to complete the outfit.

How do I care for the jacket?
Wool is self-cleaning, so airing is usually all that is needed. If necessary, we recommend careful hand washing at max. 30°C using a wool detergent. Do not machine wash, do not spin, do not tumble dry – dry flat.

Composition

Fleece (in contact with skin): 100% wool
Total product composition: 70% wool, 30% polyester
Polyester serves solely as the structural base (load-bearing mesh) on which the natural fleece is anchored.

Care

Hand wash at max. 30°C with a wool detergent, using the same temperature for washing and rinsing. Do not machine wash, do not bleach, do not iron, do not spin, do not tumble dry or place on a radiator. Dry flat. Gentle dry cleaning is permitted. Loose fibres on the surface are a natural characteristic of fleece products – before first use, air and shake the item; during use, brush gently with a soft-bristle brush. The natural smell of wool fades after airing.
