Nevada Wool Children's Snowsuit – fluffy warmth from head to toe
Colour: beige
Size: 86/92
Wool type: teddy fleece wool
An autumn walk, a winter pram ride or a cool spring evening – the Nevada snowsuit wraps your little one from head to toe in the fluffy warmth of soft wool fleece. The lofted, teddy-like structure retains heat exceptionally well, while still breathing and wicking moisture away – so your child won't overheat even on longer outings.
The zip with a protective flap at the neck makes dressing easy and stress-free. A hood with a charming pompom completes the look.
Every snowsuit is hand-sewn in Poland, with the same care with which you wrap your child.
Why you'll love the Nevada snowsuit:
Teddy fleece wool
Natural sheep's wool with a naturally crimped fibre structure that gives the knit a soft, fluffy, teddy-like texture. It retains heat exceptionally well and allows the skin to breathe, providing comfort during autumn and winter outings. Like all wool, it has natural hypoallergenic properties and neutralises odours.
Frequently asked questions
Will the wool feel itchy against my child's delicate skin?
This wool fleece has a soft, lofted structure that is exceptionally gentle to the touch and gentle even on sensitive skin. It is also hypoallergenic. A thin cotton base layer worn underneath is a good idea.
How do I choose the right size?
Size 86/92 corresponds to standard baby clothing sizing. Sizes 50/56, 62/68 and 74/80 have fold-over cuffs on the hands and feet; size 86/92 does not, as older children need freedom of movement in their hands and feet. It is worth choosing a size with a little room to spare so the child has freedom of movement and there is space for a cotton bodysuit or all-in-one underneath.
What is the difference between Nevada and Sierra?
Nevada features a soft, fluffy wool fleece with a lambskin-like texture. Sierra is premium wool with a smooth, dense fleece on both sides of the knit. Both keep your child equally warm; they differ in texture and feel.
Will the snowsuit keep my child warm in heavy frost?
Yes – the lofted, teddy-like wool fleece structure retains heat exceptionally well. In very cold weather, complement the outfit with wool mittens and booties, and add a cotton base layer underneath.
How do I care for the snowsuit?
Wool is self-cleaning, so airing is usually all that is needed. If necessary, we recommend careful hand washing at max. 30°C using a wool detergent. Do not machine wash, do not spin, do not tumble dry – dry flat.
Composition
Fleece (in contact with skin): 100% wool
Total product composition: 83% wool, 17% polyester
Polyester serves solely as the structural base (load-bearing mesh) on which the natural fleece is anchored.
Care
Hand wash at max. 30°C with a wool detergent, using the same temperature for washing and rinsing. Do not machine wash, do not bleach, do not iron, do not spin, do not tumble dry or place on a radiator. Dry flat. Gentle dry cleaning is permitted. Loose fibres on the surface are a natural characteristic of fleece products – before first use, air and shake the item; during use, brush gently with a soft-bristle brush. The natural smell of wool fades after airing.
